English 11 will revolve around an in-depth study of quality texts both fiction and nonfiction. The historical, cultural, and societal awakenings throughout history will be brought into the classroom.
Students will be given regular opportunities to improve reading comprehension, close reading, writing, and thinking skills in preparation for college and career. A consistent effort with an emphasis on quality work will be encouraged and expected from every student.
Any assignment given can be handed in previous to the due date for revision and suggestions following the writing rubric.
