“Bee a Reader”
Dear A.P. Morris Families,
We are excited to launch a new reading incentive program for our school community called “Bee a Reader”. Daily reading is critical to student success and our goal is for your child to read every night!
Here’s how it works:
Each month your child will receive a book log. Please list all of the wonderful books that your child reads, or that you read to your child. Be sure to date and sign indicating that you have witnessed the reading. Students will return their book logs to their teachers at the end of the month.
*Every child showing evidence of reading will be recognized.
*Students who have read 25 books will earn a free pizza at Pizza Hut or a Kid’s Meal at TGI Fridays.
*The boy and girl who have read the MOST books each month will also earn the highest honor, the Busy Bee Hat. These students will have permission to wear their hats in school every Friday to share their success.
We’d love to see all of our students wearing a Busy Bee Hat by the end of the school year. It’s easy!
Get ready buzz through tons of books as we work together to help every child
“Bee a Reader.
Thank you for your partnership,
A.P. Morris Reading Incentive Committee
Ready, Set, Read!
