Team Morgan  Third Grade

Welcome to Room 203!
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.
Hello, My name is Dionne Morgan,

I am from Ohio. GO BUCKEYES!!
I am a mother of five beautiful children. My hobbies include reading, scrapbooking, and photography.I received my AA from The Ohio State University. I received my degree in education with ESOL endorsement from Barry University. I moved to sunny Cape Coral five years ago and I love it!

As an educator, I believe that academics can be taught and mastered in a fun exciting manner. I believe students learn best in an environment in which they feel comfortable and safe. Our classroom will be a place that all students will feel secure and able to take risks to become successful learners. I have found over the years, that positive reinforcement is the best way to achieve desired behavior.

The school year I am planning will be challenging and interesting, with high expectations for my students, as well as myself.

If you have any questions or want to know more about what is happening in our classroom, just give me a call.  It is best to leave me a message and I will get back with you just as soon as I can.  I am very excited to be your child’s third grade teacher!  I am looking forward to watching them grow.

Third grade is a pivotal point in your child's elementary school days. They come to third grade with a foundation of knowledge which they learned in K-2. It is in third grade that your child will learn how to be an independent thinker.
