 About Miss DelCorio:

My name is Nicole DelCorio and I am a graduate of The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey; which just received honors to become Stockton University! I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education as well as Psychology. During my years at Stockton, I was a member of Psi Chi: The International Honor Society for Psychology Majors, as well as Phi Delta Kappa. This is my eighth year teaching third grade at Elementary #2, and I am looking forward to a wonderful and memorable year! Several years ago, I was nominated by one of my students, as a "Philadelphia Phillies All-Star Teacher" it was truly an honor, and I feel quite blessed. I am a graduate of Middle Township School District, so it is my home away from home! Go Panthers! When I was a young girl, it was my aspiration to become a teacher. Therefore, I am truly grateful that this dream has become a reality; and most importantly, that your child is a part of it!

I believe that education is the key that opens the door to individualized success.  In my classroom, all students learn, explore, create, and discover in various ways.  As a teacher, it is my role to ensure a safe and secure classroom where learning takes place.   My students will be actively engaged within inquiry-based, cooperative learning, and direct instruction lessons to maximize their learning.  As a teacher, I am committed to lifelong learning.  Therefore, students can teach, and teachers can learn.  Children are the future, and education is their drive!  In my classroom, I will encourage my students to utilize higher order thinking skills on the foundation of Bloom's Taxonomy to satisfy their individualized academic achievement.  Each student will learn fairness, respect, responsibility, kindness, and consideration through being part of the community that is our classroom.

I cannot put into words how excited I am, and how honored I feel to be your child's teacher.  I am looking forward to meeting all of you and working as a team to create a successful and memorable academic year. I could not imagine working for a more wonderful school district; filled with such supportive parental involvement. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me, and I would be happy to address them.

Thank You!
