Hello and thank you for visiting my webpage!  My name is Mrs. Shepherdson and I LOVE teaching first grade.   This is my eighth year teaching first, as well as my eighth year at OTS.   Prior to teaching at OTS, I taught kindergarten for seven years!  I have my Bachelors in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Widener University. 

Teaching is my passion and I find the opportunity to inspire young minds so rewarding.  I have high expectations for all students and teach them that the sky is the limit.  My goal is to inspire a life long love of learning and to prepare children to be twenty-first century citizens.  I believe that first grade is foundational for students' ultimate success.  Most importantly, I feel it is imperative that both teachers and parents work in unison to provide the best opportunities for our young learners.

Personally, some of my favorite things are exercising and cooking.  I am also a certified Spinning instructor   I love spending time with my family and especially enjoy planning day-trips on the weekends.  My husband, Matt, and I live in Logan Township with our two children Tyler (11) and Ava (9).
