Most providers only extend support to a few key contacts in your district. OnCourse takes a different approach, offering support-for-all as part of our mission to help every educator succeed. Any teacher, office staff member, counselor, etc. can send in support requests or use an in-app screen recorder to help OnCourse support resolve their questions as quickly as possible. The median support resolution is under 24 hours.

District VIPs have access to a special Chat Support feature, connecting them with an expert as quickly as possible. The OnCourse agent can launch an on-demand Zoom meeting to help walk through issues in the most productive way possible.

How long does implementation take?

Each OnCourse implementation is customized to your district's needs, size, and timeline. For Student Information System: the best SIS implementations have room to breathe, so while an OnCourse SIS can be implemented in 3-4 months, a great conversion experience has lots of leadtime for prep, gap analysis, and data validation. For other OnCourse suites, implementation can happen much faster. OnCourse Lesson Planner installation can happen almost immediately. OnCourse Assessment or OnCourse Evaluate can take a few more weeks to import/integrate staff and students and to conduct deeper training.

What is training like?

OnCourse has tried-and-true training tracks for teachers, office staff, and administrators. Together with your team, we design a blend of in-person, turnkey, and webinar training sessions based on the suite you've chosen. OnCourse Project Managers stick with you to make sure everyone feels well-trained and effective.

How painful is the transition to OnCourse SIS?

If you are considering a change to your Student Information System, you already know that it's a big project! Luckily for you, OnCourse has spent nearly 15 years converting data from most common SIS products into the OnCourse SIS. OnCourse's conversion methodology is embedded in a web-based project management system that keeps your project on track. If we purchase a product like OnCourse Curriculum Builder or OnCourse Assessment, how do we get our current content into the system?

If you are moving your content into a new OnCourse platform, there's a good chance it's because your previous platform was missing important features. The moment of conversion is a great time to update your content and add powerful new features, like tech-enhanced content or digital standards. If you'd prefer to upload now, or update later, you can explore OnCourse's data conversion services.
