With shifts across several departments, the St. John team planned opportunities to bring their leaders together, with one common goal – helping their students grow. Join St. John’s Curriculum Team as they share the impact of collaborating over data to take a pulse of their students. Learn how they developed data dashboards to monitor student progress, implement intentional interventions, and achieve their goal of student growth.
Increasing SPS with West Feliciana’s New Data Dashboard
12PM – Jodi Lemoine, West Feliciana Parish & Tyra Starkey, OnCourse
The West Feliciana team sought to understand all their SPS data more impactful way. They set out to design a dashboard that could help staff increase opportunities for students, save time on data crunching, and ultimately raise School Performance Scores. Improving LEAP Scores by Improving Quality of Assessments
1 PM – Jennie Foster, Iberia Parish
All tests are NOT created equal! Some of Louisiana’s most popular assessment programs use items that are unvetted for rigor or alignment. In this session, we’ll discuss Iberia Parish’s process of improving the rigor/alignment of benchmark tests and scoring the predictive strength of each test through correlation with LEAP scores. The result? Data-driven interventions that improved LEAP scores in both ELA and Math.
How “Student Story” is Changing The Way Schools Use Data
2 PM – Tre Gonzalez, OnCourse

A Time-Saving Way to Progress Monitor between Literacy Screeners
3pm – Amy Ard, Tangipahoa Parish Schools
In an effort to increase literacy scores across the state, LDOE has implemented new requirements for literacy screeners. Monitoring student progression between screeners is increasingly important, but also time consuming. Join Amy Ard as she shares the impact of using interactive data dashboards to quickly track Dibels data, progress monitor between checkpoints, and efficiently collect important data points across the district.
