When a student is marked Absent in the OnCourse SIS, an automated workflow begins:

1. Sends Automated Call to Guardians ☎

Each absence triggers OnCourse to initiate an automated phone call to parents within the district’s call-out system.

2. Alerts Admins via Early Warning System 🔔

When students accumulate 3, 5, 10 absences, OnCourse generates an e-mail to school principals, counselors, and other stakeholders.
